About Osteopathy
About Us
Osteopathy is a principle based gentle form of Manual Therapy, we look at the body as a dynamic unit and its structural/functional relationship. Our goal is to promote self-healing and self-regulation and to work with what the patient needs.
Mission Statement
My goal as an Osteopathic Manual Therapist (OMT) is to help those seeking for help with any structural or functional dysfunction. To be able to promote self-healing and self-regulation to the patient, so that they may be able to do the things that they enjoy doing in life. My goal is to work with the patient with what their body requires in order to find the cause and effect to their problem and to remove those obstruction within its pathway.
What sets us out from the rest of the Manual Therapies?
Osteopathic treatment is a gentle form of manual therapy that focuses on the objective of the body rather than the subjective. Our objective is to find the cause and effect of the problem through finding it, fixing it, and leaving it alone for the body to do the rest of the work.
Understanding Osteopathic Principles
Osteopathy offers a large scope where we look at the body as a whole and not as individual parts. The body is interrelated and therefore we strive to remove obstructions so that blood (arteries) are able to drain and supply to the area required
We assess and treat the body based on the principles that govern osteopathy and use our hands to palpate to find the cause and effect of the problem for the patient.
